it surprises me that as many sondheim fans as there are, there aren't more wallpapers and skins floating around. to get the ball rolling (hopefully), here are a couple of wallpapers i've put together.

i've tried these on my windoze system and it works fine. i'm not sure if the mac files will work, but some people have downloaded them and i haven't heard from them, so i assume that they also work. below is some info on how to install these in case you need help. email me if you have any problems or suggestions.

windoze installation:
to find out what resolution your screen is set at, go to your control panel's display settings, and then look under "settings" and "screen area".
easy way: to set this image as your wallpaper, click on the appropriate resolution below. when the image comes up in your browser's window, right-click and then click "set as wallpaper."
to save for future use (these instructions were written based on windows 2000, but other windows versions should be very similar): right-click on the appropriate resolution below and choose "save target as ..." save the bitmap file anywhere on your computer. now go to your start menu (left hand corner of your screen), choose control panel --> settings --> display. under display, under the background tab, you can select "browse." now just find the bitmap file from where you saved it before, and now you can set this wallpaper to be your background whenever you feel like it. whoo hoo!

mac installation:
these instructions have been copied verbatim from ninjai.com ... hopefully they'll work for you.
1. Click on an appropriate resolution for your display to link to the full-size image of the wallpaper you want.
2. When the image comes up in the browser window, click and hold on the image to bring up a pop-up menu, then choose to save the image to any convenient location on your hard drive.
3. Under the Apple menu, go to Control Panels and select Appearance.
4. In your Appearance control panel, click the tab marked "Desktop."
5. Click "Place Picture" (if you already have another picture as your desktop image, click "Remove Picture" first, then "Place Picture"). Use the dialog box to locate and open the Cell image you downloaded.
